I combine a meticulous eye for transforming academic policies, practices and to promote highest standards by adopting effective and state-of -the- art teaching learning techniques. Beyond the leadership forum, I believe in the power of elevating the growth of students or faculty. Whether I'm mentoring the Next generation of healthcare professionals or mastering my new techniques in the studio, my goal remains the same.
With a focus on both student and faculty growth, I provide tailored mentorship and professional development plans for high impact learning outcomes. As a research guide and subject matter expert, I foster an environment that truly moves the needle. I led the pioneering effort to implement the Semester and Credit Based System in Jammu and Kashmir, transforming regional academic practice through innovative educational models .
As a seasoned architect, Serving on the Academic Council member, Chair: Board of Studies, project Evaluation Committee and Co-Convenor, Governing Body of SMVD College of Nursing, I consistently align administrative decisions with established policies to drive the institution's mission forward. My governance style is rooted in cultivating strong relationships with external stakeholders, state governments, and nursing councils to elevate healthcare management standards. As Editor of the institutional newsletter, I bridge the gap between complex academic updates and campus life, ensuring our collective achievements are shared with clarity and pride.
I must start off by saying that working in the community gives me immense pleasure of contentment. I'm also dedicated to the populations that usually get overlooked. I don't just talk about public health-I prefer to be on the ground implementing it to make sure everyone, regardless of where they live, gets the care they deserve . It's giving advocacy , it's giving impact , and about leaving the world better than I found. I too personally visit Teresa Homes for orphans at Jammu regularly and support them according to their needs. Spending some time on a day off from a diligent schedule gives them a bundle of joy and it's a wonderful blessing from the Almighty that I could be a component of blessing for others.
